Officine-Panerai was founded by Giovanni Panerai in 1860. He is the founder of the family watch-business. The 1st watch maker’s shop was opened in eighteen hundred sixty in Florance on the Ponte-alle-Grazie and touched base with the most prestigious and longest established Swiss watch makers.
Giovanni’s successor is his son, Leon Francesco.

The business however was expanded by Giovanni’s grandson, Guido Panerai.
